Ald. Joe Moore will plug the meters in two lakefront public parking lots at an annual cost of $89,000 in aldermanic menu money over the next three years in a compromise reached with the Chicago Park District on Wednesday, allowing residents to continue parking overnight at Loyola Park and Leone Beach at no cost.


Ald. Joe Moore (49th Ward) brokered a deal with the Chicago Park District that will allow Rogers Park residents to continue parking overnight in the Loyola Park and Leone Beach parking lots without having to plug the meters.
