The Wilson Area Merchants Association is sponsoring its first Christmas Cocktail Crawl this Sunday, Dec. 20. Judging by the lineup of fine Uptown drinking establishments participating in this yuletide juice fest, you will be crawling by the time the day is through.
So take a few hours off from this busy holiday season, the wrapping, the baking and the family drama, and go buy a custom mug designed by Striped Tiger Graphic Design for just $12 at The Spot (4437 N. Broadway) or Fontana Grill (1329 N. Wilson) and enjoy hugely discounted drinks starting at 3 p.m. Sunday and continuing as late as 4 a.m. at some venues. Cocktails will range in price from $2 to $4.
Enjoy these holiday concoctions:
- Wild Pug: “The Peppermint Patty” : a minty version of their classic chocolate recipe

This merchants association in our Uptown is really a joke. They advertise little other then places to drink. I am offended by them as they must realize not all uptown residents live in a booze bottle. I am glad target is coming soon. Too bad I will have to walk by all the drunks that this merchants association supports.
